Free Classical Concerts Bring Music to Amersfoort and Oosterhout

On Sunday 19 July, singer‑songwriter Bram Brundel and pianist‑composer Harrie Herfst performed a free "Klassiek onder de Bomen" concert in the Pastorietuin of Amersfoort. The event highlighted songs by Dutch cabaret legend Toon Hermans, was limited to 150 visitors and encouraged voluntary contributions; it was backed by local cultural funds and the Stichting Vrienden van Martinus.

A week earlier, on Saturday 11 July, organist Jelena Bazova and soprano Ruzanna Nahapetjan offered a free Marktconcert in the Sint‑Jansbasiliek in Oosterhout. Organized by Stichting Ludens and city organist Jan Willems, the 45‑minute programme featured organ works by Händel, Buxtehude, Andriessen and Rutter, plus vocal pieces by Händel, Bach and traditional Armenian songs.
