Free health fairs in Przasnysz and Płock provide screenings and advice
On Saturday, 20 June, the Powiat Przasnyski organised a free "Sportowa Seniorada" for seniors in Przasnysz. The event offered general gymnastics, stretching, relaxation exercises, a first‑aid demonstration, blood‑pressure measurements, skin‑care advice and legal consultations. It was funded by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism as part of the "Active Orlik" program.
The same weekend, Płock hosted the "Miasteczko Zdrowia" at the Orlen Arena. Over two days, residents could access free medical examinations, including dental, mammography, osteoporosis, ultrasound of the abdomen, breast, thyroid and prostate, eye examinations and a range of specialist consultations. The fair featured mobile health‑bus services such as a fully equipped dental bus and provided additional attractions like a relaxation massage and fire‑brigade demonstrations. Since its launch in 2019, the program has delivered nearly 39 000 medical consultations.
