Free health screening events attract hundreds in Joppolo Giancaxio and Grottolella, Italy

In Joppolo Giancaxio, the 25th Sagra del Melone Giallo featured the "Mi prendo cura di te – Percorso della Salute" initiative. Volunteers from Gruppo Cisom and local health professionals conducted 50 free screenings, measuring vital signs, metabolic parameters, renal function and offering oncological counseling. Ten participants were identified with proteinuria and referred to the nephrology department for further care.

In the nearby town of Grottolella, the association Amos Partenio, together with the municipal administration, organized a day of free specialist visits. More than 70 citizens received examinations from a breast surgeon, an ultrasonographer and a urologist. Local officials praised the turnout and announced future preventive campaigns, including cardiology and dermatology sessions and a planned "Camper della Salute".

Both events underscore growing community interest in early diagnosis and preventive health services in the Campania and Sicily regions.
