Free medical caravans provide free health services in Egypt’s Senet and Syria’s Qardaha

In Egypt, the governorate of Gharbia organized a medical caravan under the presidential “Life of Dignity” initiative in the village of Al‑Qirshiya, Senet. The team signed medical examinations and delivered free services to 1,389 citizens, including 39 blood tests, 26 parasite analyses, 13 ultrasounds, 162 early‑detection “Check and Reassure” exams, treatment for 1,356 patients, dental extractions for 11 cases and health‑education seminars for hundreds of residents.

In Syria, the Qardaha health supervision area, in partnership with Médecins Sans Frontières and the Latakia health directorate, launched a free medical program covering four rural health centres. Staff consisting of a doctor, two nurses, a midwife, a pharmacist and a data clerk provide consultations, obstetric care, chronic‑disease medication and basic laboratory tests, aiming to serve 20‑30 patients per day.
