French experts share digital and AI insights in Vietnam
A high-level delegation of French experts in data, artificial intelligence, and digital technology visited Vietnam as part of the France-Vietnam E-Government Cooperation project. During a seminar at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, experts shared insights on how digital transformation and AI can enhance administrative efficiency and public service design.
Eric Soulier, Counselor for Cooperation and Cultural Affairs at the French Embassy in Vietnam, noted that AI tools can optimize decision-making processes and reduce the workload for civil servants. However, he also highlighted challenges regarding data preservation, national sovereignty, and transparency.
AI expert Aline Jarneau emphasized the importance of designing digital public services with a human-centric approach. She argued that services should be based on the actual needs and limitations of users rather than the internal logic of administrative organizations, aiming to simplify procedures and make them more accessible to citizens.
