French firefighters launch nationwide safety education campaigns for children

Volunteers from the fire brigade in Bessan welcomed about twenty toddlers from the local crèche, letting them try firefighter uniforms, explore a fire truck and ambulance, sound the siren and practice using a water hose. The visit, attended by the town’s deputy mayor for early childhood, was part of the departmental fire service’s ongoing outreach to teach young children basic safety concepts.

Separately, the confectionery brand Carambar has renewed its partnership with the French National Federation of Firefighters to promote everyday risk prevention. The campaign introduces new limited‑edition Carahéros packaging, hides prize tickets that can win real firefighter helmets, and funds a summer tour across France where firefighters conduct playful, educational demonstrations for children and the public.

Both initiatives aim to raise awareness of fire safety and first‑aid measures among young audiences throughout France.
