PSG and Marseille headline major football transfer movements
Major football transfer activities are underway involving Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Olympique de Marseille (OM).
PSG is nearing an agreement with Parma to sign Japanese goalkeeper Zion Suzuki for approximately €35 million. The deal may include an immediate loan to Juventus, a move that depends on the future of PSG's Lucas Chevalier. Suzuki seeks guaranteed playing time, and Juventus views him as a priority target for Luciano Spalletti.
Meanwhile, Olympique de Marseille is restructuring its squad to manage financial constraints. Nayef Aguerd is set to return to Real Sociedad on a paid loan with an option to purchase. The deal is valued at €4 million for the loan with an €11 million purchase option, a significant decrease from the €23 million OM paid for him last summer.
Additionally, OM's Amine Gouiri remains a subject of interest, though a potential move to Sevilla FC has stalled due to his €30 million valuation. The club is also looking to offload Faris Moumbagna, with reports suggesting they are willing to accept offers below €1 million to reduce the wage bill. Quinten Timber has expressed confidence in the squad despite these numerous departures.
