Ligue 1 referee Abdelatif Kherradji is scheduled to appear before the tribunal judiciaire in Nîmes on 7 August for alleged domestic‑violence offences against his ex‑partner. Prosecutors say the incidents began on 13 March, when the referee allegedly grabbed his partner by the neck and hair, and recurred on 13 May, involving forceful pulling and pushing against a wall, after which the woman received a three‑day medical leave. Kherradji has claimed the violence was reciprocal and is reported to have filed a complaint against his former partner, though the claim has not been confirmed.
