French mobile plan prices rise by 10% since May

Mobile plan subscription prices in France have increased by an average of 10% since May 2026, according to a study by Zone ADSL&Fibre. The price hike primarily affects new subscriptions rather than existing customers.

The most significant increases are seen among Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs). Specifically, Prixtel saw a 46% increase, followed by RED by SFR at 36%, YouPrice at 28%, and B&YOU at 27%. In contrast, La Poste Mobile reported a price decrease of 13%.

Among the four major operators, SFR and Bouygues Telecom have maintained stable pricing. Orange and Free Mobile implemented increases of 5% and 5.9%, respectively. The average monthly cost for a 100 GB plan is now 14.49 euros, up from 13.13 euros in May.
