French political figures see shifts in popularity and internal party dynamics

A recent popularity barometer shows a convergence in support for Rassemblement National (RN) leaders Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella, both holding 37% popularity. While they remain the top figures, both have seen a slight decline in their core support base.

In contrast, figures from the central bloc are rising in popularity. Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu has reached 29% popularity, making him the highest-ranked figure outside the RN. Other central figures seeing gains include Édouard Philippe and Gérald Darmanin. On the left, Jean-Luc Mélenchon remains stable at 24% popularity.

Internal dynamics within the RN continue to be shaped by the Le Pen family. Despite the public partnership between Le Pen and Bardella, the party's inner circle remains heavily reliant on Le Pen's family members and long-time advisors, including her sister Marie-Caroline and niece Nolwenn Olivier.
