French presidential hopefuls launch summer campaign tours ahead of 2027 vote

Marine Le Pen (National Rally) plans a quieter summer in Brittany after an earlier disrupted appearance in La Flèche. Bernard Cazeneuve (La Convention) is travelling to Marseille for a debate with local figures, while former president François Hollande is preparing media appearances and a forthcoming book. The candidates are timing trips to coincide with high‑visibility events such as the Tour de France and regional fairs.
