French towns kick off summer concert season with shows in Villeneuve-sur-Lot and Brittany
The summer concert season opened in Villeneuve-sur-Lot as crooner Dany Brillant performed in the town's Saint‑Cyr park. About 3,000 spectators danced to his orchestra, and Mayor Guillaume Lepers highlighted local firefighters during the event.
At the same time, the La Grange Vadrouille venue in Plestin‑Les‑Grèves, Brittany, launched its season with French‑Touch DJ Etienne de Crécy. The barn‑style space, which holds up to 700 people, featured a live set promoting de Crécy’s new album Warm Up, marking the start of a two‑week series of concerts across the region.
