French villages host summer outdoor cinema screenings
The community of Castillon‑Debats in southwestern France will stage a free open‑air screening on August 6, showing the comedy "Les K d'Or" by Jérémy Ferrari. Attendees can enjoy a pre‑show dinner featuring a set menu for adults (15 €) and children (8 €) before the film begins at 22:00. The event is part of the Artagnan en Fezensac summer programme and is organised with the local fête committee.
In Beaulieu, a separate outdoor cinema will present the nature documentary "Le chant des forêts" by photographer‑filmmaker Vincent Munier on August 2. The film highlights the wildlife of the Vosges forests and is shown under the stars from 21:00, offering a poetic immersion for nature and cinema lovers.
Both events illustrate a growing trend of French municipalities promoting cultural gatherings in public spaces during the summer months.
