FRITZ! unveils new Wi-Fi 7 router lineup at IFA 2026
At IFA 2026 in Berlin, the European networking company FRITZ! celebrated its 40th anniversary by unveiling a major refresh of its product lineup. The centerpiece is the FRITZ!Box DSL/Fiber 7-90, which introduces a new, minimalist design characterized by sharp edges and a vertical orientation. This model features tri-band Wi-Fi 7 technology with speeds up to 12.2 Gbit/s and integrates smart home protocols like Zigbee and Matter.
Other significant releases include the FRITZ!Box 5630 XGS, a compact router supporting 10 Gbit/s XGS-PON fiber connections, and the FRITZ!Box 6835 5G, which offers Wi-Fi 7 and eSIM support with the ability to run on USB-C power. The company also introduced the FRITZ!Repeater 6700 Pro, a quad-band Wi-Fi 7 mesh repeater. To support these hardware advancements, FRITZ! is rolling out FRITZ!OS 8.50, which includes new features such as DNS filtering and improved traffic prioritization.
