The expanded lineup includes the FRITZ!Box 5630 XGS, a compact 10 Gbit/s XGS-PON fiber router, and the FRITZ!Box 6835 5G. Recent performance evaluations have identified the FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro as a top performer for fiber optic connections, noted for its Wi-Fi 7 support and integrated DSL modem to facilitate transitions from DSL to fiber. The FRITZ!Box 5530 Fiber has also been highlighted as a budget-friendly option.

Software advancements focus on FRITZ!OS 8.50, targeted for October, and security features in FRITZ!OS 8.40. A key new capability allows users to block advertisements and trackers across all connected devices by utilizing DNS filter lists directly within the router.
