Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto host cultural and wine events

Various cultural and gastronomic events are scheduled for the weekend of November 7 and 8, 2026, across the Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto regions of Italy.

In Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Cantine Aperte a San Martino initiative will see approximately fifty wineries and distilleries open to the public. Organized by the Movimento Turismo del Vino Friuli Venezia Giulia, the event includes tastings, guided vineyard walks, and culinary experiences featuring local products like goose and pumpkin. Participating locations include 28 companies in the province of Udine, 14 in Gorizia, 5 in Pordenone, and 2 in Trieste.

Other regional activities include a guided urban trek through the Barriera Vecchia district in Trieste, focused on the social history and stratification of the neighborhood. Additional programming in the area features poetry in Andreis and live music in Venice.
