Friuli Venezia Giulia to participate in Expo Belgrade 2027

The Friuli Venezia Giulia region has signed a collaboration agreement with the Italian Ambassador to Serbia, Luca Gori, to define its participation in Expo Belgrade 2027. The initiative aims to strengthen economic and cultural ties with the Western Balkans through diplomacy and cooperation between production systems.

As part of the Italy Pavilion, the region will host a dedicated exhibition space from May 20 to May 22, 2027. The regional administration plans to organize various activities to promote its local systems, including conferences, tastings, and artistic performances.

The international specialized exhibition, themed ‘Playing for Humanity: Sport and Music for All’, is scheduled to run from May 15 to August 15, 2027, with participation from over 140 countries. Governor Massimiliano Fedriga noted that the event holds strategic value regarding the European integration process and fosters institutional exchange and mutual knowledge.
