Friuli‑Venezia Giulia ITS network reports 92% graduate employment and expands sites

The four Istituti Tecnici Superiori (ITS) in Friuli‑Venezia Giulia – Accademia Nautica, Alto Adriatico, Academy Udine and Lifetech – have achieved a 92.4% employment rate for graduates, well above the national average of around 75.5%. The region also records an 83.7% graduation rate and an increase in employed alumni from 58 in 2013 to 314 in 2024. Based on the INDIRE monitoring report, the ITS system ranks sixth nationally overall and fifth in quality, reflecting strong ties with more than 130 partner enterprises.

To build on this success, the regional government will invest €15 million from the EU Fund for Social Europe (FSE) to open new campuses in Gorizia and Monfalcone and to strengthen the Amaro site for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The expansion includes 32 new courses covering information technology, communication, data, agrifood and energy, and extends university‑level scholarships and vouchers to ITS students. International outreach is focused on attracting candidates from Egypt and Somalia.
