Frontier Developments releases update for Planet Zoo 2

Frontier Developments has released update 1.0.4 for Planet Zoo 2, focusing on stability and gameplay refinements across all platforms. The patch addresses various technical issues, including causes for game crashes related to object movement, hub navigation, and the undo/redo functions.

Significant improvements have been made to animal behavior and management. The update fixes bugs that allowed animals to escape enclosures, refines navigation to prevent unnecessary transport, and improves climbing animations and interactions with enrichment objects. Additionally, the patch adjusts animal reproduction, herd welfare, and temperature calculations, while updating the Zoopedia with more accurate species compatibility information.

In the Franchise mode, players will benefit from increased initial animal trading volumes and improved stability. The developer team has confirmed that further bug fixes are currently in development.
