Lorenia Valles appoints Froylán Gámez as spokesperson in Sonora

Lorenia Valles Sampedro, coordinator of the Committees for the Defense of the Transformation and National Sovereignty in Sonora, has appointed Froylán Gámez Gamboa as the state coordination spokesperson. Gámez, who previously participated in the internal process to lead the coordination, brings experience from various public administration roles, including former director of the State Scholarship and Educational Credit Institute and former Secretary of Education and Culture.

The new spokesperson will focus on communicating the coordination's activities and following up on territorial work across all 72 municipalities of Sonora. Valles noted that the role is essential for defending the achievements of the ‘Fourth Transformation’ through sensitive and close communication with the citizenry.

As part of the movement's strategy heading toward the 2027 electoral process, the coordination plans to continue grassroots efforts, including house-to-house visits to distribute the ‘Regeneración’ newspaper and holding community assemblies to engage with the population.
