Fruit Attraction 2026 to host global horticultural industry in Madrid

The Fruit Attraction 2026 international horticultural trade fair, organized by IFEMA Madrid and FEPEX, is set to take place in Madrid from October 6 to 8. The event is expected to host over 2,500 exhibitors and more than 121,000 professionals from 150 countries, establishing itself as a major strategic hub for producers, exporters, and technology providers.

Key areas of the fair include fresh produce, logistics, and agricultural innovation. The event will feature specialized forums such as the International Potato Symposium and the Biofruit Congress, alongside the Innovation Hub Awards to recognize advancements in agricultural R&D.

Through the Import Promotion Desk (IPD), 24 suppliers from Africa and South America are participating to connect with European buyers. Representing nations including Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Senegal, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, and Peru, these companies are showcasing a diverse range of products including tropical fruits, fresh herbs, vegetables, and specialized varieties like pineapple and mango.
