Fátima, Portugal to Host International Religious Tourism Workshops in March 2027

The XIV International Workshops on Religious Tourism (IWRT) will be held on 9–10 March 2027 at the Centro Pastoral de Paulo VI in Fátima, Portugal.

Organised by the Associação Empresarial Ourém‑Fátima (ACISO) in partnership with the Ourém municipality, the event follows the Better Tourism Lisbon Travel Market (BTL) scheduled for 3–7 March 2027 in Lisbon. It will bring together entrepreneurs, professionals and researchers from dozens of countries to promote religious tourism, reinforce Portugal’s position as a reference destination, and feature an inaugural conference, a guest‑destination presentation, business‑to‑business meetings, networking sessions and institutional briefings.
