Fuel prices in Spain show regional variations across major cities
Fuel prices across various Spanish regions show slight moderation or regional variation as of late August. In Sabadell, the average price for gasoline is 1.675 euros per litre, a slight decrease from 1.716 euros in March, while diesel has dropped from 1.817 to 1.806 euros per litre. Despite this minor deflation, prices remain significantly higher than they were in February before Middle East conflicts impacted the market.
In Andalusia, significant price disparities exist between provinces. According to the Ministry for Ecological Transition, Granada offers the lowest gasoline 95 prices at 1.519 euros per litre, followed by Sevilla at 1.535 euros and Córdoba at 1.539 euros. Málaga and Cádiz report higher minimums of 1.555 and 1.609 euros per litre, respectively.
In Madrid, gasoline 95 prices include options such as Lavaplus in Alcalá de Henares, which offers fuel at 1.559 euros per litre. While a ten-cent discount per litre is being applied during August, many drivers continue to face costs exceeding 1.50 euros per litre.
