Fuel prices in Spain: Tools help drivers find cheapest stations

As travel increases during the August holiday period in Spain, consumers are utilizing tools to find the most economical fuel prices. The Dirección General de Tráfico anticipates approximately 561,000 road trips during the special operation spanning August 14 to August 16.

Data from the Geoportal of the Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica provides real-time fuel pricing across various regions. In Madrid, competitive prices for 95 gasoline have been noted at stations such as Plenergy in Alcorcón. In Andalusia, specifically in Sevilla, Masfuel and Ballenoil have offered lower rates for 95 gasoline, around 1.499 €/l, compared to higher prices found at other local stations.

Comparison tools allow drivers to calculate potential savings for a standard 50-liter tank and determine if traveling to a different municipality to refuel is more cost-effective than staying in their current location.
