Fuel prices in the Czech Republic rise with regional variations

Fuel prices in the Czech Republic have seen recent increases, according to data from CCS. As of early September, the average price for Natural 95 gasoline is 42.34 CZK per liter, while diesel averages 45.89 CZK per liter. Over the past week, gasoline prices rose by 0.28 CZK and diesel by 0.11 CZK per liter. Compared to the same period last year, gasoline is approximately 8 CZK more expensive and diesel is about 13 CZK more expensive per liter.

Regional price variations are significant. The South Bohemia region offers the cheapest gasoline at an average of 41.98 CZK per liter, while Prague has the highest average at 43.09 CZK. For diesel, the Pardubice region provides the lowest average price at 45.41 CZK, whereas Prague remains the most expensive at 46.84 CZK.

In the South Moravian Region, price disparities exist between districts; Hodonín offers the cheapest fuels, while Brno and Vyškov report higher costs. Specifically, diesel in Vyškov averages 46.60 CZK per liter, the highest in that region.
