By early September, prices continued an upward trend. Average Natural 95 gasoline reached 42.34 CZK per liter, while diesel averaged 45.89 CZK per liter. Regional disparities emerged, with Prague reporting the highest prices and South Bohemia and Pardubice offering lower averages. By mid-September, prices rose sharply. Natural 95 gasoline increased to 44.22 CZK per liter, while diesel reached 47.79 CZK per liter. This surge is attributed to rising oil prices driven by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. While gasoline is now roughly 10.50 CZK more expensive per liter than a year ago, diesel prices are approximately 15.50 CZK lower than the same period last year. Although the Czech government implemented price regulations from April to mid-July, officials have decided not to limit dealer margins at this time.
