Fuji City and Toyama Airport announce 2026 local festivals in Japan

Fuji City will hold the "Fuji Festival 2026" on July 26, 2026 at the city’s central park, featuring stage performances, a citizen dance, cosplay shows, an anniversary T‑4 flight display by the Japan Air Self‑Defense Force, and a fireworks show of 6,060 shells to mark the city’s 60‑year anniversary, including a collaboration with the animated film "Super Kaguya‑hime".

Toyama Airport will host its annual "Air Fest" on September 13, 2026, offering visitors tours of the control tower and meteorological facilities, a pilot and ground‑staff job‑introduction tour, and a hands‑on aircraft tour for school children, with separate application periods and limited participant numbers.
