Fuji-Q Highland opens 2.5 billion yen San-X Paradise area

Fuji-Q Highland has opened a new permanent area called "San-X Paradise," featuring characters from San-X such as Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi. The project represents an investment of approximately 2.5 billion yen.

The themed area, covering about 6,500 square meters, includes various attractions, a photo studio named "MEMORY STUDIO," an arcade called "WAKUWAKU CARNIVAL," a dedicated shop, and a restaurant. Attractions include rides themed around Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi, alongside themed dining options like character-shaped curries and parfaits.

An opening ceremony was held on August 1, 2026, to celebrate the launch. The developers stated that an additional indoor attraction is scheduled to open later this autumn.
