Fukuoka launches June food fairs featuring Kyushu sweets and Asagiri Milk pop‑up

From 10 June to 16 June 2026, Tenma‑Ya’s Fukuyama store in Hiroshima prefecture hosted a "Kyushu Gourmet Fair" showcasing a wide range of Kyushu‑origin sweets, snacks and drinks. The event offered items such as Stone Village’s caramel‑cream sandwich, Festival’s taro‑cake, fresh egg‑based dishes, eel rolls, and local shochu and wine, running daily from 10:00 to 19:00.

From 17 June to 23 June 2026, the Asagiri Milk brand from the Fuji‑Kogen highlands held its first pop‑up in Fukuoka at Daimaru Tenjin’s B2 event space. The shop featured its regular milk‑based desserts and introduced two limited‑edition flavours – an‑butter and matcha – in new milk sand‑wiches and chocolate‑cookie assortments. Prices ranged from ¥410 to ¥1,400, and the seven‑day event highlighted the brand’s fresh milk concept for local visitors.

Both events formed part of a series of temporary food‑culture promotions designed to attract consumers to regional specialties and new confectionery offerings in the Fukuoka area during early summer 2026.
