Fukuoka sees multiple July 2026 retail openings, including Shake Shack and BAPE

The new West Japan City Building in front of Hakata Station will open on 21 July 2026. Its commercial zone will host five eateries and shops, notably the first Shake Shack in Kyushu with a 148‑seat menu, the debut of the stand‑up bar STAND T‑HAKATA, a second Blue Bottle Coffee outlet for the region, the I’m donut? / dacō bakery café, and a Lawson convenience store.

Around the same time, the ONE FUKUOKA BLDG in Tenjin will also launch new stores. The building will welcome BAPE STORE®, the street‑wear brand’s first location inside a commercial facility in Fukuoka, and Venchi, the Italian chocolate and gelato brand, making its first Kyushu appearance. Additional offerings include YOAJUNG’s premium yogurt‑ice cream concepts. Both projects are part of a broader expansion of upscale food and retail venues in Fukuoka for the summer of 2026.
