Fulda police launch search for missing 19-year-old with Down syndrome
Police and emergency services have launched an extensive search for a 19-year-old man with Down syndrome who has been missing from the ‘antonius: gemeinsam Mensch’ facility in Fulda, Germany, since Wednesday morning.
Authorities expressed concern that the young man may be disoriented. The search operation involves the East Hesse Police Headquarters, the German Red Cross (DRK), and rescue dog units. Search efforts have utilized motorcycles, quads, and e-scooters to cover large areas of the city and the vicinity of the facility.
The missing person is described as approximately 1.72 meters tall, weighing over 80 kilograms, with a broad build and a slightly stooped gait. He wears glasses and was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt and jeans. Police are urging anyone with information to contact the Fulda police station.
