Fulvio Martusciello re-elected as Forza Italia regional secretary in Campania

Fulvio Martusciello has been re-elected by acclamation as the regional secretary of Forza Italia in Campania during the party’s regional congress held in Naples. Running on a platform titled ‘A New Beginning,’ Martusciello, a member of the party since 1994, aims to establish Forza Italia as the leading force within the center-right coalition in the region and prepare for future regional government challenges.

During the event, Martusciello performed a saliva-based anti-drug test on stage following a provocation from the Campania prisoners' rights guarantor, Samuele Ciambriello. The test returned a negative result to applause from the attendees. The congress included participation from national figures, including Senator Maurizio Gasparri, while national leader Antonio Tajani attended via video link from Brazil.

Regional councilor Angela Parente and provincial secretary Francesco Maria Rubano expressed support for the leadership, emphasizing the need for an inclusive party that can aggregate moderate voters and address regional issues such as security, healthcare, and development.
