Funchal to host National and International Gymnastics Congress

The 10th National Gymnastics Congress and 8th International Gymnastics Congress have been announced to take place at the University of Madeira – Penteada Campus from October 9 to 11. The event is expected to gather over one hundred participants and is supported by the Funchal City Council.

During the presentation, Helena Leal, the Councilor for Sport, emphasized that continuous training for sports agents is essential for the quality of athlete development. She noted that the congress serves as an opportunity to promote gymnastics regionally, nationally, and internationally, positioning Funchal and the Autonomous Region of Madeira as centers for both competitive and recreational gymnastics development.
