Funcom reveals Dune: Awakening gameplay and GTA 6 leaks surface
Funcom has announced new details for the open-world survival game Dune: Awakening. During Gamescom, the studio showcased seven minutes of gameplay for the PS5 version, highlighting graphics and performance. The game, inspired by Frank Herbert’s novel, will feature crossplay between PC and consoles. While the PC version launched in June 2025, the console release for PS5 and Xbox is scheduled for September 22, 2026. The console launch will include a single-player mode, a story conclusion, and a year's worth of additional content.
A new DLC titled ‘Filmic Archive’ will also be available on September 22 across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. This expansion includes exclusive costumes from Dune: Part One and Part Two, such as the Aegis of the Unwalked Path armor and the Caladan Stormcoat, alongside 73 base-building elements and new Sardaukar armor.
Separately, a new wave of leaks regarding Grand Theft Auto VI has emerged via an entity known as CyberLeek. The leaked footage reportedly shows gameplay involving Jason Duval in Vice City and the state of Leonida, including chases and combat. Take-Two Interactive has initiated legal action against Microsoft and Discord to identify those behind the leaks, describing the circulating material in legal documents as stolen content.
