Fundacite Carabobo and Unacom launch robotics training program

Fundacite Carabobo and the Universidad Nacional de las Comunas (Unacom) have launched a training program focused on basic robotics and electronics. The initiative is designed for teaching staff and students within the National Training Programs (PNF) in the state of Carabobo.

The curriculum includes the ‘Pequeños Ingenieros’ (Little Engineers) program, which utilizes free software to develop technological skills. Participants will use the Canaima GNU/Linux 8.2 Semillero Científico distribution, a platform equipped with educational tools for teaching electronics, robotics, mathematics, and engineering.

This phased educational plan follows a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) approach. It is part of a broader strategy by the Ministry of Science and Technology to promote scientific development and technological sovereignty in Venezuela.
