Venezuelan scientific and robotics training initiatives

Overview

In Aragua, Fundacite has reactivated training at the Ingenio-Bot Robotics Nucleus in Ciudad MCY. Supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology, this initiative focuses on programming, electronics, and prototype design for children and youth as part of the national Semilleros Científicos program.

Following this, Fundacite Carabobo and the Universidad Nacional de las Comunas (Unacom) launched a robotics and electronics training program for students and staff. This initiative utilizes the ‘Pequeños Ingenieros’ (Little Engineers) curriculum and the Canaima GNU/Linux 8.2 Semillero Científico distribution to promote technological sovereignty through a STEM-based approach.
