FX comedy series Adults returns for season two

The FX comedy series ‘Adults’ has returned for its second season on Hulu and Disney+. Created by Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw, the show follows a group of five friends in their 20s living together in Queens, New York.

Season two continues to explore Gen Z themes such as healthcare costs, employment, and modern relationships. The production for the second season featured cinematographer Christine Ng, who shot five of the eight episodes. Ng utilized a new camera and lens package to enhance the show’s visual style, aiming for a modern look with naturalistic lighting and vibrant colors while maintaining the aesthetic established in the first season.

In addition to the main season, FX produced a prequel episode detailing how character Paul Baker joined the friend group, which was released as a special episode on Hulu.
