G7 leaders reaffirm Ukraine aid, Trump meets Zelensky at Evian summit

President Donald Trump was mentioned by name in the declaration and held talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the summit, with reports of a planned bilateral meeting. The leaders also noted a recent US‑Iran agreement on ending hostilities in the Middle East. AI company CEOs attended a side meeting, and French President Emmanuel Macron hosted a dinner for the guests.

Zelenskyy remained in Evian until Wednesday before travelling to the EU summit in Brussels.
