Gabriele Pignotta brings Toilet to Piccolo Eliseo

Gabriele Pignotta brings his comedy “Toilet” to the Piccolo Eliseo in Rome, running from October 27 to November 8, 2026. The play follows Flavio Bretagna, a salesman constantly preoccupied with his phone, who becomes trapped in a service station restroom. With no one physically present to assist him, Bretagna must rely on his mobile phone to navigate a surreal series of negotiations with a carabinieri marshal, a secretary, and various other characters.

The production, managed by Artisti Associati, serves as a precursor to an international tour in China. “Toilet” has evolved across multiple media formats, having previously been adapted into a 2022 film and a social media spin-off series that garnered over 250,000 views on platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
