Indonesia's GIIAS 2026 Auto Show Welcomes Ten Debut Brands

The Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 will take place from 30 July to 9 August at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City in Tangerang. More than 65 domestic and international exhibitors will participate, making it the most extensive edition of the show.

Ten manufacturers are appearing for the first time: BAW, Changan, iCar, Leapmotor, Solarky, Zeekr, Farizon, SAG, Canadian motorbike maker Can‑Am, and coachbuilder Piala Mas. The newcomers cover passenger cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles and a body‑shop, expanding the show’s breadth.

GAIKINDO officials highlighted the significance, with Putu Juli Ardika saying, "Tahun ini akan menjadi penyelenggaraan GIIAS dengan merek yang tidak hanya terbanyak namun juga terlengkap dengan hadirnya total 10 merek yang baru pertama kali ikut serta..." The expanded lineup is expected to showcase new models, concept vehicles and the latest automotive technologies, underscoring confidence in Indonesia’s auto sector.
