Gal Gadot discusses Wonder Woman exit and AI protections

In a recent interview on the podcast ‘Happy Sad Confused’, actress Gal Gadot addressed the conclusion of her tenure as Wonder Woman and the restructuring of DC Studios. Gadot stated that DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran had previously assured her that ‘Wonder Woman 3’ would be developed with her, contradicting earlier reports that the project was not moving forward.

Gadot noted that while she holds no personal grudge against the new leadership, she observed that the departures of other key figures, such as Henry Cavill and director Patty Jenkins, were ‘not handled elegantly’. She clarified that she does not intend to return to the role of Diana Prince, citing personal reasons including her commitment to her four children and the difficulty of long production schedules.

Additionally, Gadot discussed her involvement in the upcoming film ‘Bitcoin: Killing Satoshi’, directed by Doug Liman. She revealed that her legal team spent six months negotiating her contract to ensure that artificial intelligence could not interfere with or modify her performance. While expressing apprehension regarding the rapid advancement of AI in Hollywood, she emphasized the necessity of adapting to the technology to remain relevant in the industry.
