Galaxea AI showcases embodied AI and industrial robotics at WRC 2026
Galaxea AI has concluded its ‘Productivity Awakening’ exhibition at the 2026 World Robot Conference (WRC) in Beijing, showcasing the transition of embodied AI from laboratory research to industrial application. The company demonstrated over ten multi-scenario demos highlighting its full-stack capabilities.
Key technological milestones presented include the world’s first closed-loop robotic darkstore fulfillment system, capable of handling tens of thousands of SKUs and deformable items without case-specific reprogramming. During the event, the system completed 900 full-cycle orders and over 1,500 packaging cycles. Additionally, Galaxea AI demonstrated a ‘robot-to-robot assembly’ application that utilizes reinforcement learning to achieve a 30% speed increase over manual teaching in mass production settings.
The company also unveiled Nexo, a new generation wheeled dual-arm robot with a 20kg payload, and showcased its humanoid robot, Kengo. CEO Jiyang Gao introduced the ‘1+3+N’ strategy, which integrates hardware (Galaxea Dynamics) with embodied foundation models (Galaxea Model) to expand across various industrial sectors.
