Galaxy Digital reports $323M Q3 profit and $200M share buyback
Galaxy Digital has reported a significant financial turnaround for the third quarter of 2026, posting a net income of $323 million. This marks a sharp reversal from the $85 million net loss recorded in the second quarter. The company’s adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.83 exceeded analyst expectations.
The rebound was primarily driven by investment gains within the Treasury & Corporate segment, which generated $419 million in adjusted gross profit. Additionally, the company’s data center business showed substantial growth, with adjusted gross profit rising to $79 million, supported by the first full quarter of revenue-generating operations at its Helios I facility.
Following the earnings report, Galaxy Digital’s board authorized a new $200 million share repurchase program, following the successful completion of a previous $200 million buyback. The company also reported a liquid balance sheet of $4.9 billion, consisting of cash, stablecoins, and U.S. Treasuries. To support its ongoing AI infrastructure expansion, the firm completed a $3.5 billion secured note offering to fund the construction of Helios I, Phase II in Texas.
