Galaxy Digital financial performance and expansion

Overview

Galaxy Digital has experienced a significant financial turnaround driven by market trends and infrastructure growth. Following analysis from Citi that positioned the company as a primary beneficiary of a cryptocurrency rebound and rising asset prices, Galaxy Digital reported a third-quarter net income of US$323 million. This represents a substantial recovery from an US$85 million loss recorded in the second quarter.

The company’s growth is supported by its Treasury and Corporate segment, which contributed US$395 million due to investment portfolio appreciation. Additionally, Galaxy Digital is expanding its data center business to support demand for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing, maintaining a power pipeline exceeding 5.7 gigawatts.

In its third-quarter 2026 report, the company confirmed a net income of $323 million, with adjusted earnings per share of $0.83 exceeding analyst expectations. The rebound was largely fueled by the Treasury & Corporate segment, which generated $419 million in adjusted gross profit. The data center business also saw growth, with adjusted gross profit reaching $79 million, aided by the first full quarter of revenue-generating operations at the Helios I facility.

To manage capital, the board authorized a new $200 million share repurchase program following the completion of a previous $200 million buyback. Galaxy Digital reported a liquid balance sheet of $4.9 billion in cash, stablecoins, and U.S. Treasuries. Furthermore, the firm completed a $3.5 billion secured note offering to fund the construction of Helios I, Phase II in Texas as part of its AI infrastructure expansion.
