Galaxy Robot Park opens in Seoul featuring K-pop humanoids

Galaxy Corp has launched the Galaxy Robot Park in Seoul, a new 16,500-square-meter theme park designed to integrate robotics and artificial intelligence into entertainment. The facility features various interactive experiences, including humanoid robots that perform synchronized K-pop choreographies using motion capture technology, robotic dogs, and humanoids that participate in boxing matches controlled by the public.

During a six-week trial period, the park attracted over 20,000 visitors. CEO Choi Yong-ho noted the positive reception, suggesting that robots can serve diverse roles such as serving ice cream, playing the piano, or drawing portraits. The initiative aims to explore the coexistence of humans and robots, testing how audiences interact with robotic systems in environments traditionally centered on emotional connections with human artists.
