Galderma reports three-year data for Nemluvio in atopic dermatitis
Galderma has released three-year long-term extension data from the ARCADIA study regarding its medication Nemluvio (nemolizumab) for the treatment of moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis in patients aged 12 and older.
In a post-hoc analysis of 295 patients who showed early clinical improvement by week 16, results remained consistent through week 152. At the three-year mark, 76% of these patients achieved clear or almost-clear skin, 80% reached at least a 90% improvement in disease severity (EASI-90), and 80% achieved an itch-free or nearly itch-free state. Additionally, 50% of this group achieved complete skin clearance.
A separate interim analysis of the broader study population, which included 1,903 patients, also demonstrated sustained efficacy in managing skin lesions, itch, sleep disturbances, and quality of life. The safety profile remained stable throughout the period with no new safety signals identified. Nemluvio is currently approved in over 40 countries for atopic dermatitis and in the US for both atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis.
