Galderma Nemluvio long-term efficacy data

Overview

Galderma has released long-term efficacy and safety data from the ARCADIA study regarding its medication Nemluvio (nemolizumab) for treating moderate to severe atopic dermatitis.

Initial reports indicated that the monoclonal antibody, which targets the interleukin-31 (IL-31) receptor α, remained well-tolerated through 152 weeks. Early findings showed that up to 75 percent of patients achieved at least a 90 percent improvement in eczema severity, while up to 88 percent reported clinically significant relief from itching.

Subsequent post-hoc analysis of 295 patients who showed early clinical improvement by week 16 demonstrated sustained results through the three-year mark. In this subgroup, 76 percent achieved clear or almost-clear skin, 80 percent reached at least a 90 percent improvement in disease severity, and 80 percent achieved an itch-free or nearly itch-free state. A broader interim analysis of 1,903 patients also confirmed sustained efficacy in managing skin lesions, itch, and sleep disturbances, with a stable safety profile and no new safety signals identified.
