Matamá and Torrão summer festivals attract locals

The parish of Matamá in Vigo, Galicia, celebrated the feast of Nosa Señora das Neves with a series of events from August 2 to August 5. Activities included a solemn mass, processions, a music band competition, concerts by local ensembles, traditional dances, and evening dances featuring local orchestras and DJs.

In Portugal, the town of Torrão is hosting the 2026 Feira de Agosto from July 31 to August 2. Organized by the local council with municipal support, the fair will feature three nights of music, traditional performances, and community gatherings aimed at residents and visitors alike.
