In Sonora, lawmakers are debating raising the age of sexual consent from 12 to 16 and improving investigations into sexual harassment. In Galicia, Spain, a pioneering law is being processed to combat digital harassment, offering free services to erase digital footprints.

In criminal news, two individuals were arrested in Cancún with drugs and a firearm, and fifteen others were linked to drug trafficking processes. In Ciudad Juárez, a former investigation commander and his father were charged with sexual crimes against minors. Additionally, several bodies were discovered in various locations, including a woman in Cancún, a person buried in Alta Palmira, and a man in a decomposed state in Tampico. In Spain, a trial continues regarding the Manzanares crimes, with testimony detailing the purchase of a property used in the disappearance of Juan Miguel Isla.
