Galicia launches €8.6 million health centre project in Ponteareas

The Galician government has issued a public tender worth more than €641,000 to contract services for drafting the basic project, executing the work, and supervising construction of a new health centre in Ponteareas, Province of Pontevedra. The facility will cover over 5,700 m², with an estimated total construction cost of €8.6 million, and will include adult and pediatric consultation rooms, nursing areas and other medical spaces.

Bids must be submitted by 25 August. The municipality donated the site and Mayor Nava Castro described the contract as “a very important day for Ponteareas,” emphasizing the investment in modern, accessible health services for local residents.
